Update on the writing

So it's been a while since I've posted something about my writing.

Over Christmas I've found myself battling some writer's block. Curious as to how other writers deal with writer's block I posted the question on the vision writer's group discussion board. All the responses were of great help. All of which I tried. The primary piece of advice was to keep writing. Which I did until I just couldn't keep going with that particular piece and when I couldn't I decided to switch to a different piece, a fanfiction piece. Switching to the fanfiction piece proved to be effective because I managed to write almost 7000 words on that piece and then was able to go back to my main piece and managed to actually more that one forward a little.

A few other changes that have happened is I've learned how to add little badges to my blog. Also found a few useful websites, including the likes of librarything (http://www.librarything.com) and bookblog (http://bookblogs.ning.com/). Some very interesting things going on on these sites. Lots to learn. Also I've learned how to put badges on my blog. In particular I've added the goodreads button. I love this site, lots of awesome books and reviews. Also you get a look at the authors and their blogs (because lets face it almost all authors have a blog these days). This means lots of things to learn from these authors.

So for the moment I'm reading a ton of new blogs I've found through the blogs. I also got a copy of an ebook by David Este (called Angel Evolution) to read through, and a review will appear just as soon as I've finished. All the while trying to get through my piece The Fairy and The Witch.
